How Unknown Pretty Girl Got Her Name

Artist Paul Jackson posts to Flickr using the ART NAHPRO account.
When he was a child, he lived in Africa (Tanganyika, later Tanzania), where his father was employed with the Groundnut Scheme. Between 2005 and 2008, he posted 93 pictures from his family's time in Urambo, but the most-commented picture turned out to be one titled Unknown Pretty Girl, Urambo Tanganyika (Tanzania) 1952.
The picture has the usual number of comments for his Flickr stream, but the first hint that something might be different comes with user tikki27's first comment.
