Steven Paul Jobs, co-founder, chairman and former chief executive of Apple Inc., has passed away. Just a day after the first of Apple's well know product introductions done by his successor Tim Cook, Steve Jobs finally lost the battle against pancreatic cancer.
At a 2005 commencement address at Stanford University, Jobs shared the philosophy that drove him. “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life,” Jobs said. “Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
