I know there is an open thread but it is 2 weeks old and the use of the tear gas is, I believe(?) , a first for the OWS protests and represents a significant development.

Not just tear gas, also flash grenades and rubber bullets. Clearly these are dangerous elements being dispersed by the valoriffic police.
