This is a double double.
In case this stands: there are many jobs in which your car is your office. I think I stated it in one of those older threads, but one of the truck companies (Toyota?) found out that construction workers, usually management types like superintendents, were very high tech and worked out of their truck. They introduced drastic changes: more power ports, larger cabs, etc. and saw an uptick in sales.

Were it not for the fact that we are living in a science fiction dystopia, I would think that the Wheelmate Laptop Steering Wheel Desk was some sort of police honeypot for horrible drivers. You try to buy one online, put in your name and address and they tell you its out of stock. Meanwhile, all your info is checked against the DMV database and your license plate number and other info are sent to you local precinct. Then, if you're ever caught doing something stupid or dangerous on the road and the cops call your info back to check who you are, they are told you're in the Tried To Buy A Laptop Desk For Their Fucking Steering Wheel category and that you get charged double for a ticket.

I don't think this is designed to be used while also driving the car.
