You're still all we think about, and that gives you power over us. And we resent you for it.

The annoying about the article was the way it perpetuated the idea that all men are alike.

Not only that all men are alike, but that all men are heterosexual. Or the alternative implication is that only heterosexual men are misogynist.

What? Most faux-feminism articles posted to the blue get my back up, but this really takes the cake; it's a barely coherent dribble from Cracked.com, with an inflammatory title and complete lack of logic or evidence backing up its claims of male perspective.

Five Ways Modern MenFrat Boys Are Trained To Hate Women

I would like to think that I am a little more rational than described in the article. Using a FreeRepublic as data point is perhaps more than a little biased. Not to say that what I can follow of the US debate climate (from Denmark) doesn't seem fairly toxic.

One thing I wondered about during the last presidential election was this: All the TV clips describing Clinton as president (that I saw) talked about a 'woman president'. Shouldn't that be 'female president'? Would you ever say 'man president' rather than 'male president', or is this some aspect of American English, i'm not getting?

OTOH, the article introduced me to the word 'boobily', but I'll be darned if I can think of a way to use that in a sentence...

yes, it is drivel and bullshit. Yes it is ignorant and prejudicial. Most here will agree.
Funny, if it said, "Five ways republicans are trained to hate women" a very large number of people here would eating it up jumping on the chance to agree with the article.
