If you want to make a webpage like this, a page of really cute dogs, because you know, cute dogs are so cute and everybody is just going to want to see them... here's what you can do:
1. Find a picture of a cute dog, such as this one.
2. Use Google's similar image search to find similar cute dogs.
3. Collect up the images!
This recipe pretty much produces every picture on the linked webpage. Cute, hey?

It is interesting to see how the various ear types, such as the Basset, Papillon and Dachshund, struggled to prevail, yet still succumbed, at least in part, to the Corginess.
I have also been tempted to buy the shaking head Corgi figurine from the tea shop around the corner from us (without the accompanying Queen), just because it makes me happy whenever I walk past it in the window.

Lots of these seem like big improvements on the non-Corgi partner.
Especially the Australian Shepherd, Basset Hound, Beagle, Dachshund, Jack Russell, Long Haired Dachshund, Papillon, Pomeranian (the original never should have existed, though), Pug, Sheltie, and Yorkie.
But very much not the Husky, Australian Cattle Dog, Chihuahua (enormity upon abomination) Dalmation (sic), English Bulldog, and Westie.
I wish I could unsee this and go back and guess what the non-Corgi partner was from a list; I doubt I would have gotten 10.
The comments on that page are fascinating but kind of discouraging.

They are small, yappy, nippy and generally bad tempered.
Corgis? Wow, you must have been exposed to a rotten line of them, or else ones that were poorly trained. Corgis, in general, are cute, friendly, and very clever. They usually love to play. I've known one that was pretty grumpy and stubborn, but I can't even imagine her nipping anyone.
They do, however, bark. A lot. Strange sounds, strange movements, hell, for no reason at all, they'll just explode into a dogfrenzy. Yarpyarpyarpyarpyarp. If you like a quiet dog, in my experience, you really don't want a corgi.
And, despite being small, they're really best where they can do a lot of running. They tend to get fat if they don't get tons and tons of exercise. If you can't exercise a corgi on a regular basis, you'll want to watch their weight carefully, and maybe restrict calories a little, even preemptively. Despite their small size, they're not the best apartment dogs.

doesn't the mother always have to be the larger of the two - 2 reasons.
1. You can get a girl dog to lie down for intercourse, but a big boy dog trying to get his penis on the ground might be more difficult
2. If the puppies are larger than expected, because of the genes of one of the parents, you don't want them exploding a tiny uterus.

I wouldn't say this in general. They're no worse than terriers, but as herding dogs, their tendency to nip at the heels needs curbing, and only poor owners would let them do this.
In the UK, they have a bad reputation fostered by that of the Royal corgis, which go biting everything in sight. But I'm sure this is down to unnatural dynamics of the situation. Because everyone has to be deferential to the Queen, they haven't been brought up with the basic deal with well-trained dogs: that all humans have to be higher on the pecking order than the dog.

crossbreed portmanteaus
My all-time most beloved dog was a "neighbor dog got pregnant" product who was half-collie and half-black labrador (as best as anyone could see from a distance). My then-wife so wanted to name her Lollypop after a childhood dog of hers, but I didn't go for it until I realized that her lineage: Labrador + Collie = Lollie! Which I called her for her entire life. RIP, Lollie.

Corgis are great the way they are.
Some of these are pretty cute anyway.
For the love of Dog, people please spay or neuter your pet! Every single one of these pictures is evidence of irresponsible (or at least careless) pet ownership.
Also: that Chowgi has got to be an absolute hair-making machine. Those owners must go through an entire lint-roller hourly.

The Corgi-Corgi cross looks suspiciously like a matchbox.
Huh. I would have really expected that to look like a corgi.
Two different kind of Corgi here. (hint: one of them is a brand of toy metal cars)

Aha, I thought he'd typoed, and was being mildly amused. Should have remembered the edit window -- typos like that are much less common these days.
Had never heard of Corgi models, so didn't have a prayer of catching the reference.

Certainly, no one would intentionally want a bastard cross-breed dog. Absolutely ridiculous. The idea is simply grotesque.
Now where is my puggle.

"...as herding dogs, their tendency to nip at the heels needs curbing, and only poor owners would let them do this."
Our Vizsla took care of this for us. When our Corgi was just a pup and wouldn't stop nipping at the Vizsla's feet she (the Vizsla) just stepped on the Corgi with one front paw, held her (the Corgi) down and WOOOOFFED at her. She's never tried heel-nipping again since.

Most of these hybrids make me cringe, not because of the way the look, but because of the personality traits they would likely inherit.

that corgi/pug mix looks like it's thinking about how, if it can just mount a slightly larger dog, it might be able to get vengeance one day on the humans for what they've done to his entire family.

If you crossed the Corgi/Cockapoo with a Puli you could call it a Co-cockapoo-poo and you'd have everyone stumbling over their tongues. And its amazingly long coat.

Oh come on just because you will get a dog that will want to do ALL THE THINGS ALL THE TIME and will NOT STOP YAPPING AT YOU because you are not DOING ALL THE THINGS WITH IT ALL THE TIME hardly makes it a devil dog.

The main message I'm getting from this photoset is: for best results, breed dogs of approximately the same size and shape. (Not that anything is all that similar in shape to a corgi, but anyway.) Like, the corgi/westie mix is delightful. The corgi/chow mix looks miserable. (I may be projecting. I look at that picture and imagine dragging myself along by my elbows forever.)

I'll take the opportunity to share my dog as well. Cookie the Wonder Chorgi.
Silly dog. Smart as a whip. Sweet as pie. Only problem is she inherited the Corgi susceptibility to IVDD. She went down almost a year ago and needed spinal surgery to get upright again.

6 months after (The dog next to her is our 14 year old terrier mixup - he's about 25 lbs. She's about 15)

The thing about hybrid breeds is that, for example, a Corgi-Dachshund mix could be several generations of Corgi-Dachshund mix on one side and purebred Dachshund or Corgi on the other side, which skews the look in favour of the purebred. Plus there can be significant differences from one puppy to the next within the same litter.

What? Corgles are adorable!
I got dragged to a New Year's Eve party with a group of strangers one year and was anticipating a dull evening. Luckily, two corgis in the house + balloons kicking about the floor for them to chase = a good time was had by all (especially because they were entirely unsuccessful at making tooth contact with the balloons, so there were no alarming *POP!!!*s to deal with).
