The Indianapolis House Explosion

Latest report on this tragic situation, which now appears to (maybe) be a crime and a homicide. On November 10, a house on the south side of Indianapolis exploded. Two people were killed; 33 homes will now have to be demolished due to the damage the explosion called. At the time I am posting this, it is a developing news story, but it does appear to have passed one tipping point: the authorities consider this an intentional act, not an accident, and are pursuing it as a homicide.
This post was deleted for the following reason: This seems like a lousy thing that has happened, but it's a little local news oriented for MetaFilter. If there is something outside the local angle, maybe indicate that? -- jessamyn
