Chris Kyle, former Navy Seal, killed at a Texas shooting range.
Kyle's decorations include two Silver Stars, five Bronze Stars with Valor, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and one Navy and Marine Corps Commendation.
Chris Kyle was the author of "American Sniper", which describes his 150+ kills over four tours of duty.
At this point, the motive for the shooting is unclear.

Mayors Against Illegal Guns is airing an ad in favor of mandatory background checks during the Super Bowl
It includes decades-old footage of National Rifle Association Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre saying the gun lobby group approves of the checks. LaPierre recently testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee that the NRA no longer supports background checks for all gun sales.
There have been at least 1501 gun related deaths since the shooting in Newtown on Dec. 14th.

Instead of making this a debate about guns, I think this incident highlights a poignant reminder of the difficulties of war and the horrors of PTSD. It is certainly worth mentioning that Mr. Kyle was killed by a struggling veteran he was trying to assist.

Now, assuming that Imaginary Hitler 2.0 would kill MORE than 1501 people a month, I say we're still coming out ahead.

I guess you live by the gun, you die by the gun. And 150 human lives on your ticket definitely sounds like it counts.
