How Jesse Jackson, Jr. Spent His Money

It was revealed today that embattled former Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. spent campaign funds on items such as cashmere capes, Michael Jackson's hat, and a Rolex.
This post was deleted for the following reason: I know it's a weird list of stuff, but this feels like not a great idea for a post, kind of an "oh look at the funny bumper sticker attached to that seven-car pileup" sort of thing. -- cortex
But seriously, how cool are cashmere capes.

Some people don't know how to mis-spend money.

To be fair, who among us has not bought a cashmere cape with public funds.

When I think of men wearing capes I think of Lando Calrissian. Probably because I haven't see Game of Thrones yet.

"Bruce Lee memorabilia"
Well, okay then. That's fine.

The thing is, it's so damn easy to rip off divert campaign funds, totally legally, as Stephen Colbert demonstrated.

I think it is a crime NOT to purchase a cashmere cape, frankly.

The guy is/was ill.
Hasn't he been diagnosed with some sort of mental illness? This post is kind of like laughing at crazy people, no?

Was he wearing these capes on the House floor? I know he was ill, but if he took any steps to conceal what he was doing, which indicates a consciousness of wrong-doing, then he's got no recourse as far as getting convicted goes. It should perhaps mitigate the severity of sentencing, though.
