Justice. Justice you shall ... roll your eyes at?

US Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito rolls his eyes. When Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg presented the dissenting opinion on a case covering affirmative action, Alito was noticed by many observers to visibly shake his head in disagreement, roll his eyes, and look at the ceiling.
For its first two centuries, the Court was notable for its comity and strict traditions barring politicking in public. Behind closed doors, the members of the current Court have made great strides toward getting along even if they have ideological disagreements. Scalia and Ginsburg, for instance, are famous for attending the opera together.
What makes Alito's behavior all the more shocking is his showing brazen contempt for his colleagues in public. One reporter called it "as jarring as seeing a Justice blow bubblegum during oral argument."

He's also the Justice who felt it was appropriate to contradict the President's remarks at the State of the Union address. He is just not a polite man. (RBG, on the other hand, is a lovely gracious person who is pretty adored by everyone who knows her.)

Alita is a member of a political party which has nothing at its core but contempt for particular groups, very much including women and especially women who exercise political power.

There is going to be a lot of SCOTUS FPPs over the next few days, I humbly suggest this not be one, even as much as a doink as Alito is.
