Hopper: When to fly and buy

"Flight pricing is highly complex and opaque, so travelers often don't have the information they need to get the best deals on flights. Hopper provides insightful, data-driven research to help travelers make better decisions about where to go, and when to fly and buy. At Hopper, we use data sets comprising billions of flight prices to help travelers find the right destination for their budget and feel confident that they're getting the best possible deal."

A quick check of Hopper revealed a few questions.

1) It tells you when flights are cheapest but no information about when to buy the tickets. Unless I missed it. This is the single biggest uncertainty people have - to wait or buy now. They say they have it so perhaps someone can point it out to me.

2) I checked some European flights I often take and it has excluded many budget airlines - the ones that are usually the cheapest. For example flights from Gatwick don't show Easyjet. Flights from Birmingham don't show FlyBe.

3) There's some data problems. It thinks BRS is Cardiff airport not Bristol.
