I guess they're blurring her eyes to try to hide her identity? But they print her full name and honestly I'm pretty sure you'd still be able to identify her without seeing the narrow band right around her eyes/glasses. Weird.
Interesting thing with KFC: they were the first "Western" chain to hit the market in China and they're still huge there. I remember going to the huge 2-story one in Beijing way back in the day. (Pre-1989.)

I was weirded out to see a KFC right across from the sphinx in Egypt. I quickly learned that Egyptians love their KFC, seems like it's a total delicacy to them.
