The New York TImes reports, after a celebrated career, co-creating the only large scale example of a non-euoropean Avant Garde artform, Kazuo Ohno has died (guardian obituary). Due to the unique style of expression he established in his genre of performance, he was able to incorporate his own process of aging, and his body's deterioration, into his dance late in life.
