David Letterman ended his last show Wednesday night with a dizzying montage of clips and images from his 33 years as a late night talk show host (all set to a live performance of "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters). You can watch it here. If, however, you'd like a chance to stop and smell all 576 roses, then Facebook user Adam Nedeff has you covered with a mostly annotated list of images from the six minute montage.

I wept several times during the last fifteen minutes of the show. Dave has always been there. He looks happy when he talks about retiring so here's hoping he had a splendid time.
