This video demonstrates the vastness of space by showing light moving from the sun to Jupiter in real time (45 minutes).

It's amazing, and humbling, how slowly the sun seems to shrink as you pull away from it. I don't know if anything I've ever seen gave me a sense of how slow the speed of light is relative to the size of the universe.
