Reddit's Greatest Hits?

Reddit is a big website, in the aftermath of recent controversies (previously) I noticed a couple of unusual stories profiling reddit at its best.

Tracey Helton is a moderator of r/opiates and former addict who sends free Naloxone kits to heroin users - to date those kits have saved over 115 lives.
The Mass Shooting Tracker is a crowdsourced project of r/gunsarecool that tracks every mass shooting that occurs within the US. Providing a powerful look at the scale and nature of mass gun violence.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Some problems here: the personal framing is a bit off for Mefi, and "because there's been some bad press, I went looking for something good from Reddit" isn't really a great basis for a post. If you'd like to focus on one of the stories and frame a post based on the site/info itself rather than Reddit's recent trouble, that would be better. Please contact us if you have questions. -- taz

There is also r/bestof, though what floats to the top there can be hit or miss.
