I got stuck on that YouTube channel for several minutes. I almost couldn't get out. So much cat. So much cute.

Awww. My first cat was a rescue from the Philadelphia mean streets and he *loved* banana. We theorize he had been surviving on thrown away bananas after his mother was killed-- right up until he died he would toss garbage cans in order to carefully and lovingly place banana peels in his cat bowl. I used to call him monkey.

I would have needed skin grafts if I tried to get him into that costume, tho.

Keep in mind, the videotaper had no problem cutting off the face and goring out a stuffed monkey's head so that they could put their cat in it. That is some serial killer material there.

My cats *hate* bananas. They'll actually recoil if you offer it for sniffing, and give you a look that communicates "Why have you betrayed me; this is the most foul thing I could imagine". Very interesting to know that other cats feel differently.
