Not bad, but not enough Motorhead.

There was a nice thread about streaming radio stations at some stage, now where did it go?

Aha!

There's some good stuff in there.

Also, if you are going to talk about Internet Radio, be sure to check out SaveInternetRadio.Org. These stations are in a fight for their lives right now, and need your support.

Here's a nice, nice internet radio station. I just listened to Assemblage 23, and now Fektion Fekler. Wow!

Stoicnoise is also good...despite the website.

(And the best part of these radio stations is that one of the "major" labels for this genre -- Metropolis-Records -- is NOT part of the RIAA, and actually encourages net-radio play.)

And if jonmc is gonna pimp KPIG, I'll pimp KPIG's bastard nephew, radioparadise.com. All good music, no commercials.

also recommended: globalpopconspiracy.com (groovy electronic, r&b, hip hop, disco) and totallywired.co.uk (out of Brighton in the UK, comes complete with charming radio hosts).

i belive i said it in the last internet radio thread, but kcrw music is perhaps one of my favorites. online sister station to los angeles npr affil kcrw, kcrw music reruns all of the outstanding and sometimes spaztic music programming from it's big brother along with some originals thru the day.

whoops, my bad. i wasn't even a a member when the last thread was up. but yeah. kcrw music is tasty... waxy will probably be able to back me up on this one.

i heard the white stripes here back in october before they were all over the place as the next big buzz band.

I love Destroyer, but where does the singer get his Bowie-esque accent from? Isn't he from Vancouver, BC?

This is funny. I stopped my mp3 playlist, started up the radio station, and thought that it hadn't worked. It had, it's just playing exactly the same song...
