A clever web-based editor for Svgbob allows you to mouse over what you want to edit, click, and type in diagram-y characters like ._,-._._|\/|_._,-._. to make SVG pictures. Built by Ivan Ceras; also available in Elm flavor.

In some odd way this reminds me of graphviz, the classic way to turn data into a slide for your presentation.

It is super fun to just zoom around the page, though.

Graphviz? Is this where we lecture people on what's a graph vs what's a chart?

I mean all data can be translated into graph form and that's obviously superior to all other visualization methods and thus tool can render a graph so problem solved right?

One fun thing to do to play with this is to take some ASCII art and copy-paste it in.

This is really neat. It looks rather similar to wavedrom, which uses ascii to generate timing diagrams. But this looks great for the more general - purpose problems...
