When Facebook posts lead to prison

If this post title seems familiar, it is because it's been over 4 years ago since the MetaFilter post about Justin Carter being prosecuted for a joke on Facebook. Now with his appeals exhausted, he has a December 5th pre-trial hearing for which his mother is hoping to have supporters attend.
