My Vagina Is Terrific. Your Opinion About It Is Not.

I dared to discuss my anatomy. Men couldn’t handle it. I wrote the story of how a man had tried to shame me about my healthy vagina. In response, an article showed up in the The New York Post with the incorrect headline “My boyfriend dumped me because of my vagina smell,” accompanied with a big picture of me. Men wondered if I had washed “that thang yet?” Another man warned me that “We men had a meeting, all 3.5 billion of us.” At the meeting they had apparently decided to “double down on calling out” my smelly vagina.
This post was deleted for the following reason: Sorry, but we've had a flood of posts about how men are bad, mansplaining, men being bad online, men being bad at emotional labor, how men are abusive, etc. and it's becoming overwhelming for the site. We agree that this is a bad thing, but we're going to try to not have several posts a day on the same topics and the same discussions, and maybe suggest adding to existing thread(s) instead. -- taz
