Am I picky or is this post uninteresting and plainly bad taste?
Crossing real war drama with an obscure Star Wars blunder...
I mean, my imagination could be weirder than yours, but for me, IMHO, this was totally unnecessary.

I think it's one of those gestalt things: the image of the two soldiers policemen silhouetted against the light reminded him of an image from the film. I've had moments like that, where a particular memory location is triggered strongly by some event. But try to explain the experience to others, and they usually don't understand.

In an attempt at a brilliant MeFi caption for the photo, I discovered some pretty sick minded Star Wars inspired art.
Interesting how these things dovetail.
