It’s a recognition that comes in the aisle of a grocery store. "I think about how little I survived on and how much it hurt, how it consumed me everyday. Trying to calculate mealtimes so that I would be able to fall asleep before the hunger became to painful to ignore. And I think it's a fucking shame we let anyone live this way."

I'm not quite sure I'd call this a "duplicate," however, as the LongReads post here has illustrated the original twitter story, while last month was the story on its own, and I personally think the illustrations add a nice new dimension to the piece.
