Hannah Gadsby has been pretty famous in Australian comedy circles for a decade, but her latest special Nanette (available in the U.S. on Netflix) has made her a worldwide name. Nanette is being called "raw and revolutionary", compared to Tig Notaro's LIVE set, and called "the most daring and emotionally activating piece of comedy I’ve experienced in a long time". Nanette contains frank and explicit descriptions of sex, violence, and sexual violence.

I love Hannah Gadsby's and love having her work promoted on here, but this was covered last week.
