Native American farmers plan moves to global market, greater sustainability

Native American farmers grow crops as diverse as tepary beans, olives and squash, some for community use and some sent around the world. The Navajo and Hopi tribes feed their communities by focusing on cultural traditions, including dryland farming.

This is a pretty interesting article. One thing that it raised obliquely that I'd be curious to learn more about is how climate change is affecting indigenous agriculture — especially because of the way that reservations in the US diminish the ability to migrate with climate.
