Great News From The Supreme Court A divided Supreme Court reversed course Thursday and ruled that executing mentally retarded people is unconstitutionally cruel, giving scores of inmates on death row the possibility of a reprieve.

I've always hated people who bitch about double posts but, geez, didn't ya read the posts from TODAY?! Yes, I realize that this not the same link but wouldn't it have been better as a link in the comments instead of more foo on the front page?

What disturbs me the most is that this is considered newsworthy and that something so obviously, just plain wrong (wrong like drinking milk with pizza, using kittens for pike bait or feeding rodeo clowns acid), was tolerated so long.
