My brother had the 45 on Prestige with Duke Ellington's Do Nothin' 'Till You Hear From Me on the B side. I played that one over and over.

He sure had the slide and the glide. Always loved his songs about the Mississippi State Prison.

Recently fell in love with his voice, went out and randomly bought one of his albums, turned out to be mostly instrumental. Still great though!

What's a good album to get if for his vocals though?

A refrain I have come back to my entire adult life is Mose Allison's phrase "I don't worry about a thing, cause I know nothin's going to be all right." The guy was prescient.
