The University of North Carolina is being sued by three freshmen who say that their summer assignment to read a book of excerpts from the Koran is unconstitutional. Is this a breach of church and state, or just a university adding a timely topic to the curriculum?

Seems like a good learning experience for the kids. Maybe they will realize that their own religous is just as bogus as all the other ones. (does this constitute a trolling?)

Seriously though, I don't see any grounds for this lawsuit. There are plenty of classes that teach about religions, which is okay so long as they don't encourage or promote the religion.
