Software is Art is Software. The Whitney Artport Comissions project, CODeDOC, examines art produced with software. Christiane Paul writes: "[w]hat distinguishes software art from other artistic practices, is that, unlike any form of visual art, it requires the artist to write a purely verbal description of their work."

The previous thread became an off-topic conversation between two people, so I hope this one stays up and includes discussion of the project. (This is the kind of post I come here for.) I know nothing about code, but I like the art -- Mark Napier's in particular.
