John Walker Lindh Sentenced to 17 Years Minimum A hardcore terrorist or a misguided youth? I have mixed feelings over this. He joined the Taliban and not the Al Queda and earlier articles have said that even most (not all of course) of the Al Queda were little more than expendable foot soldiers against the Northern Alliance. Any thoughts?
