Tasteless Domain Squatting, just in case you forgot it still happens...
This post was deleted for the following reason:
fyi: the kaddish is a traditional jewish prayer of mourning, in which they both remember, and connect to, their loved ones.

So somebody with a million domain names, including kaddish.org, points them all at the same search page. This is new, interesting, and worthy of discussion?

An enterprising friend of mine recently registered the domian "tarotcardkiller.com"
Currently it redirects to a comedy website. He's hoping more tarot cards are found.
He's a sick fucker.

The company is using an automated process that grabs up expired domains and puts up pay-per-click links on a generic search page. It probably doesn't earn much, but it doesn't take much to justify the $8-$12 yearly domain registration cost. They might not even realize they own kaddish.org.
In any event, they'll probably make appreciably more money today as a result of the Metafilter link.

I don't know about new and interesting (I have serious doubts), but I'm pretty sure it'll be deemed worthy.
