D'oh! so how do I make sure it hasn't been posted before? in previewing it, MeFi told me it hadn't located any previous threads, then I put the URL into the search just to make sure - but nothing came up... so what to do?

Search for keywords ("diamonds") blah blah blah blah....

You want to know the secret, rely on your gut feeling that something this good had to have been posted before, or somebody will post it eventually.
