"People of Interest" named Two people have been named in the Sniper case: John Lee Malvo, and John Allen Williams. John Allen Williams also goes by Mohammed. No links available yet - link goes to google news.
This post was deleted for the following reason:
I'd like some assfilter myself.

Hate to say it, but if there's no link, don't post it. Breaking news and all, I understand, but it's not looked well upon around here, and for some pretty good reasons.

And in other news, it's 3-3 in the seventh inning of World Series game 4. Go, local sports team!

Can we agree not to post anything about snipers unless it's something really big, really interesting, or completely over? It's the never ending story here, and one thread a week should be enough.
Ignoring the fact that this link was posted -- and deleted -- before, as stated in the article, these guys aren't even suspects! They're just wanted for questioning.
"Son, I have one word for you: Snapple!"
"Oh, dad. You and your nonsense words!"

I'm running out of sniper thread jokes. Can I just revert back to the standard "All your base" and "Get your war on" jibes?

But the quote from Chief Moose: "...like a duck in a noose..." Pretty weird.
It appears now that one of the two individuals is, indeed, a suspect and an arrest warrant has been issued -- although apparently NOT for the sniper murders.

google's answer to ducks and nooses:
While the Otter had been under the water the Rabbit had peeled some bark from a sapling and made himself a noose. "Now," he said, "Just watch me;" and he dived in and swam a little way under the water until he was nearly choking and had to come up to the top to breathe. He went under again and came up again a little nearer to the ducks. He took another breath and dived under, and this time he came up among the ducks and threw the noose over the head of one and caught it. The duck struggled hard and finally spread its wings and flew up from the water with the Rabbit hanging on to the noose.
It flew on and on until at last the Rabbit could not hold on any longer, but had to let go and drop.
