More Google madness...

Google, what is 25 squared times 12? Google continues to expand its roster of cool features. Simply type an equation into your search field or nav bar, and the calculator function does the rest. It will even convert units, like how many teaspoons in a half a cup?

Ok, ok, shoot me. Apparantely Google can, but MeFi can't.
I'm done with this.

Metafilter searches by exact phrase. Your search for google calculator doesn't match even your post, but just calculator picks up this one as well as the last.

What insomnyuk said.
Also, I have wombat in my livingroom that just burrowed up through the carpet. There's a huge hole in the floorboards!!! Where the hell did that come from? I'm going to try and get control of the animal and call the zoo. Anyone have any advice for catching a wombat? Do they bite?
Stay tuned, more details as they develop.

Okay. I found a big cardboard box and I strengthened it with duct tape. I'm trying to lure the wombat into the box, but it doesn't seem to like cookies or peanut butter. What do these things eat? I don't have any lettuce or celery.
I'd just shoo it out the door, but it's really cute and I don't want it to get run over.
Help!!! Wombat emergancy!!!

There's nothing special about the MetaFilter colored Google results, its something Matt set up a long time ago.

I just noticed the difference between:
Twenty five squared times twelve
and
25^2 * 12
Cool!

Okay, the wombat is a little nastier than it looks. I tried gently scooting it into the box with my foot and it tore a gash in my leg. Nothing serious, but this is getting silly. It's cute and slow, as long as you don't piss it off, at which point it goes nuts.
I'm tempted to throw a blanket over the thing and toss the whole thing into the box, but I don't want to get my blankets torn up.

Still having wombat problems.
It started clawing at the carpet (I guess it wanted to burrow out) and the thing has some very sharp claws. I finally had to wack it to get it to stop. But then it ran into the kitchen and hid in the bottom cupboards. Now I can't get to it at all.
I think it's trying to claw it's way through the wall. Chasing the damn thing into traffic is sounding better all the time.

Nitpick: Google doesn't do equations. "E=mc²" is an equation. "1 imperial pint in litres" is not. However, it can be said to output equations.
