One link to CNN, and a link to yourself, about something somebody might do? Sorry, but that's a really lame MetaFilter post...

Sorry if this breaks any rules, but it was top breaking news on all the news sites and I did see it in the comments area of the Weblog first.

interesting, but self-serving... we don't make news here, quirked. we merely observe it.

If they break rules?

My word. If it's top news everywhere, why do we need a link to just reiterate it here? What value does this post offer?

None.

quirked, you might want to check out the MetaFilter guidelines, which do clearly state that you shouldn't post links to your own site in a front page post. Also, "it was top breaking news" isn't really good justification for making a post. We're.. well, we try not to be all about news. I know you're probably just excited about getting some traffic to your site now Clark is running for president, but a much better method (I think) would have been to find an interesting article on Clark's political beliefs and then perhaps mention somewhere in the comments that you have a weblog on him.

That being said now... what does Clark bring to the presidential race, beyond his history colour commentating on CNN?

Well, I was pleased to see this post. Clark's entering the race is about to liven up the Demo side, if not the entire election.

This is very good news indeed.

I really think you should link directly to your Wesley Clark Cafe Press shop. Time to start offering thongs, I suppose. Kick this campaign into high gear. I missed the notice about all proceeds going to the campaign, where is that?
