Have you been pleasured by the Ceragem Master? Unlimited free trials. No catch. See if there is a center near you. I've been a regular here. This is especially excellent for people who sit at desks all day. Yeah I'm talking to you.

Is it me, or is that map missing Delaware entirely?

Underneath the New Age veneer, it's just a heated massage. But who doesn't enjoy a heated massage?

I will get one if I am referred by my chiropractor, Dr. Tory Crimes

Yes, that's really him.

"Moxibustion (or Cauterization) effect is one of the treatment methods in traditional Eastern medicine that has been studied and developed. Moxibustion works by means of heat applied stimulation and causes a physical reaction that leads to health balance."

That is not what cauterization is usually defined as. And I'd rather not be cauterized today, thanks. Nevermind the jade quackery.

WTH?

I'm sorry, but what is the point of this? It just seems like an ad to me.

From your user page: It's been a long time since I've known about metafilter, probably close to five years. I have been an on and off reader.

Well, if that's the case, then you should know not to shill products here. Come on over to MetaTalk.

Hmmm... just get off your butt and do Tai Chi or Yoga or something and you'll get the same effects; if you happen to believe in that.

I profit in no way from this, you do. I was offering an opportunity for you to learn about something that doesn't cost a damn thing to use and will help your health. Piss off you ungrateful snobs.

...and how is this different from a rug that turns into a hamper...and so many other things found to be interesting and also available for purchase.

I do agree with C.Batt, though, yoga, Tai Chi and Qi Gong provide the same effects, but some people need a jumpstart.

I was viewing this ironically for a minute. But that didn't work out. So now I'm just bored.

Dear mic stand,
Would you be insulted if I said that I would like to punch you in the nuts?

I wrote an article about ceragem a few years ago.

I tried it a couple times. Didn't work for me (and was quite painful around my neck) but some people I met during interviews were ardent believers.

me3dia-
Good article. I've been going for over a year and you made points that I hadn't been aware of.

Did you have previous neck problems that you were aware of? Did they mention a healing reaction (sometimes things get worse before they get better)?

mic stand, they claim that this will increase the flow of Qi, do they do a before and after comparison of the flow rate?

No and yes. I don't consider hot jade balls vibrating against bone a beneficial therapy.
Somebody's gonna jump all over that line, I know it.
posted by me3dia at 1:15 PM on December 3, 2004

Well, in theory, it is not supposed to touch the bone. Maybe they didn't help you get positioned correctly on the bed. I had that problem at first, but just asked for help and they realigned my posture.
