It rubs the lotion on its skin is a song by a band called The Greenskeepers, with an effectively creepy music video culled from clips from The Silence of the Lambs. Full lyrics here. First link is embedded QT

I wonder if Sarah Spiers' family turn the radio up when they hear that delightful song?

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

Woah, we were talking about this song/video tonight. It puts the lotion in the ba-sket. It puts the lotion in the fucking basket.

So Keswick, let me get this straight because I'm confused. Buffalo Bill is a real person, he lives in Australia, he abducted Ms. Spiers and the linked song is actually about the incedent? How do you know this? I must be overlooking something.

Gawd, I didn't think I was being that obtuse.
Sarah Spiers was almost certainly killed by the Clarement Serial Killer.
I often wonder how the parents, family, and friends of such victims feel when they hear a song with a sort of "serial killers are kewl" vibe to it. Know what I mean?

I promise not to tell Sarah Spiers' family about the song if you don't, mkay?
[uncanny, I don't understand why out of the hundreds of serial killer victims you've called out this particular one. Is there some connection between Sarah Spier, the Clarement Serial Killer and the movie Silence of the Lambs?]

No sexymofo, but there's a connection to where I live and where the Claremont Serial Killer operates. It was the first name that popped into my head. (Poor girl.)
Sorry, I should have chosen a higher profile American victim of a serial killer in my example.

uncanny, how about we just wonder how they feel about a movie that portrays a serial killer in a very stereotypical, homophobic light? It's been recognized that while Silence of the Lambs is a pretty well-liked film, the Buffalo Bill character is embarassingly bad, and many of the lines are unintentionally hilarious. Do relatives of people who died when the Titanic sank get pissed off when people parody that particular film? Maybe. If you don't want people making parodies, then blame the filmmakers for bringing up the topic.
