The Alinea Project. It sounds like manga or a nuclear bomb, but it's actually a restaurant. A lovingly, comprehensively documented restaurant. A restaurant that finds traditional methods of preparation, traditional lighting, spaces, traditional flavors and traditional utensils too limiting. It's Alinea -- brainchild of superchef Grant Achatz -- a restaurant that decisively answers the question, what would it be like if Matthew Barney applied his talents to the culinary world?
