Kids... meet your dead brother...

From the Rick ("Man on Dog") Santorum profile in last Sunday's NYTimes (registration required):
(It talks about the loss of an infant child, and how...)
"Rick and Karen Santorum would not let the morgue take the corpse of their newborn; they slept that night in the hospital with their lifeless baby between them. The next day, they took him home. 'Your siblings could not have been more excited about you!' "
Ewwww!!!!! Is this really something someone does after the loss of a child? Is this the culture of life thing I've heard so much about?

This post was deleted for the following reason: this is old news, and kinda lame to just point at people with dead babies and say "ewwwwww!"
I think Ewwww!!!! needs to be used in more front-page posts.
