Epic 2014 - When the New York Times Goes Offline

Epic 2014 is a very neat experimental flash/sci-fi(esque)/mocumentary depicting information overload in the not too distant future.

It also seems to be a broken link.
And if this is the "EPIC" referred to in that past post, then in no way is it experimental, it's only slightly sci-fi, and it's not so much a mocumentary as it is devoid of anything even resembling a sense of humor.

Sorry, my bad...
I did a search and yet it didn't yield any results. And yes "mocumentary" is not the write word at all... and yes it's only slightly sci-fi hence my use of parentheses in the term sci-fi(esque) and I do think experimental is an appropriate description considering very few short films use Flash for non-comedic fictional storytelling.

Who is the narrator? It sounds like Timothy Carter, who did this reading of the Greek myth of Apollo and Hyacinth (ogg).

Is there a term for memes that keep getting posted even though almost everyone dislikes them?

stbalbach> The narrator is a mefite, but I'll let him out himself.

FYI, I had seen a reference somewhere that this thing had recently been re-done somewhat, so it might not necessarily qualify as a double post -- although perhaps the more sensible thing would have been to post "Epic2014 rewrite" or some such thing.
