Welcome to day number 1384 of the War on Terror! Today, U.S. forces successfully managed to destroy a large compound, igniting weapons, explosives, and supplies, thereby denying use of the facility to the enemy.
Unfortunately, that compound was their own. According to my first-hand source, FOB St. Michael, located 25 kilometers south of Baghdad in the town of Mahmudiah, has burnt to the ground.
That's what happens when you plug too many things into the same socket, I guess...
