Jones Soda's new Halloween flavors

Jones Soda's new Halloween flavors The people at Jones Soda have done it again with a new batch of holiday sodas. Last year they put out Thanksgiving flavors which skyrocketed in price on eBay. This year they have released four new flavors for Halloween: Strawberry Slime, Scary Berry Lemonade, Candy Apple, and believe it or not - a Candy Corn flavor. They're available exclusively at Target stores and come in tiny little cans for about $1.50 per 4-pack. Seems like there's more of them available this year, so chances are you won't have to spend $40+ just to try them out.
Some self-proclaimed "Extreme Beverage Testers" decided to perform taste tests with all four of the flavors. Retrocrush also performed a live taste test via podcast which you can listen to here (just choose episode 16).

I'll keep an eye out for these.

Candy corn is colored sugar. You're telling me they made a soda that tastes like that?

Gosh, those people at Jones Soda have done it again! I look forward to reading about all their fine products on Metafilter as soon as they're relased. You know, Metafilter is an excellent place to get the word out about new products and services. You can reach tens of thousands of consumers in that most desireable demographic -- males, 15-35 -- through Metafilter. And best of all, it's absolutely free.
"We're thrilled by our new advertising partnership with Metafilter," says Rand McCracken, chairman and CEO of Jones Soda. "We believe that time is right to expand our internet presence beyond our own sock puppet websites, and infiltrate some respectable blogs. Metafilter meets our needs in every respect, and we look forward a long and mutually beneficial relationship."

At least the flavors make more sense than turkey or gravy.
Faze: You can just type "PepsiBlue", that one word has come to mean pretty much what you said. "(tm)" is optional.

I haven't been so excited about a product since the introduction of that Pepsi Blue--it was Pepsi, but blue!

I never drank Pepsi Blue. It reminded me too much of that blue liquid in the aircraft loos.

And yeah, if you're going to link to an online shopping site, please make sure the product in question is actually on it. KTHXBYE.

I'm drinking the Candy Corn one right now. It doesn't really taste like candy corn, though. It's more of butterscotch flavor. I still have the other three to try, though.

I think i tried pepsi blue once. I'm not sure. Maybe I should buy some. Hell, I bet they even use sucrose in Hong Kong.

Go to Britain. When I was there in '97, they had a wonderful drink called "Pepsi Max". I think it was one part pepsi, two parts sugar. Blegh.

Never tried Pepsi Blue, but I do occasionally drink blue Gatorade. Looks like windshield washer fluid.
