A simple google search would demonstrate the vast number of times this site has been linked to or mentioned on Metafilter.

I flagged this as both fantastic and noise. Because really, what a fantastic noise it will raise.

Well Senor Dalek, you know this means war. We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Thread, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Thread or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Sites beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the Absurdist Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.

"via Pointlesswasteoftime"? o rly, heh heh. :)
YTMND is a good reminder of what the Internet should really be about. It is the next logical extension of communcation after the "ate my balls" phenomenon. Soon, everyone will be talking to each other in a manner not dissimilar from the rhythmic cadence of YTMND. Perhaps by that time, Firefox will be more well adapted to the YTMND format. They'll be the man then, dogs.
It's Gonna Rain and Fees, Shorty, Fees are my current favorites.
