If you happen to be a hero (or villain) visiting NYC this holiday season, its not about Christmas, or even New Years eve...but New Years eve eve.
This post was deleted for the following reason: too thin for a post, yo.
Or pictures from the "DEC 19th : PRO/AM STRIP FOR CHARITY"
And better yet, what is LVHRD foundation? From the source on their page:
Dear Mr. Snoopy Pants,
If you really wanna get in, do a google search for LVHRD, find somebody who has been to an event, and email them... they should be able to show you the way.

and
LVHRD is a tradition of Creativity and Business. We will unite those that have a passion for change, a willingness to succeed and the determination to overcome what has been laid in our path.
But, i'm bored, and i'm not going to buy tickets, and I don't know what this is about.

They've succeeded in perfectly reproducing the look and feel of a piece of over photocopied photocopy paper, with all the thill and excitement that that entails.

The LVHRD kids consider themselves community builders, though I consider them a new breed of fun publicists. They have an event every Monday night, which they only notify people about by text message every Monday afternoon. They talk a lot about abstruse concepts like "engagement" and they're very gung-ho; also in thick with the whole Dodgeball crowd. (They're also uniformly attractive and young-ish and trendy.) Makes me feel old, mostly, and as if I'd like to stay home and watch TV and not ever consider wearing a super-hero costume to attend something to which "only" 250 tickets will be sold.

(That probably sounds more dismissive than I meant to be; I think they're also making good times happen, and I salute that. I just don't like people, events, or things in general that much.)

I've enjoyed looking through photos from their events on Flickr from time to time. It always makes me wish I lived in LA so I could check it out. It also always makes me wonder if there's a similar deal in Los Angeles that I'm just not hip enough to know about.

Sorry - wish I lived in New York instead of LA which is where I do live.

Just saw the Flickr photos, too. I'm definitely not hip enough. Nor in NY enough.
I still don't get the point of the post, though (but thanks fo rthe explanation RJ Reynolds).

I went to one of their superheros balls a few years ago. It was quite enjoyable. Or would have been, were I the sort of person who likes being around large groups of people. While sober. Yeah, I couldn't afford drinks, at the time, only admission.
I'd probably go to another one, if I still lived in the NYC. And had enough cash to drink a bit.

For several minutes I thought that the web page was a bad scan of a printed flyer, completely missing the big black 'Buy Tickets' button in the center. +1 for building a printable, clickable flyer.
Prior LVHRD occasions include "architech duel", "striptease for charity", "vending machine challenge", and "underpands only video game tournament".

A point of order: New Year's Eve eve is New Year's Adam.
