Directing Children

In "Groin Injury" a little boy rambles on about a fight scene in a TV show. (wmv file) He describes a man kicking another man. "You know what he did?" the boy asks us, directly to camera. "He kicked him in the penis."

I second Baby_Balrog...it's deja vu all over again.

"The camera can be intimidating," says Ebel. "The kid's mind is going to be focusing on the camera. If they are not aware of the camera they are going to be more natural. We allow the kids to be themselves."
Actually, I've heard that's not true these days, because parents spend so much time cam-cordering their children that they're totally used to it :P
