Word Jazz podcast: Ken Nordine (wiki) not only has a blog (of sorts), but is podcasting parts of the ineffable Word Jazz.
The net just got a little cooler.
I have the Ken Nordine Colors album on my iPod. It's always a special treat when one of those tracks pop up randomly. Especially when I'm entertaing after-bars.

This is wonderful news! Really, why do you say that? Because Ken Nordine has the coolest voice in the history of recorded sound. That's quite a statement. Care to back it up? Don't take my word for it, just listen to that golden baritone rumble out of him like a honey waterfall. Honey waterfall? What kind of simile is that? Hey, it's the best I could do on short notice.
