Now That's Just Wrong

Sylvia Browne is wrong again. Sure, she's been really wrong before, but this one takes the cake. Appearing on the Montel Williams Show, she tells the daughters of Lynda McClellan, who had been missing for two years, that she was fine and had just wandered off after a nervous breakdown. In reality, she was murdered, and the murderer was sitting in the audience while she gave the reading.
This post was deleted for the following reason: Sylvia Browne was wrong again like four years ago, and we've covered her before. Why this, now? -- cortex
Oh snap!

All psychics are fake. All of them. Yes, even your granny who woke up in the middle of the night shouting "Fire!" and it turned out her sister had just died in a fire, or your uncle who could talk to dead puppies, or your cousin who always knew when someone was about to deliver an orange chiffon cake to the mayor or whatever the fuck she did.

Wow, now that we live in this enlightened age, where nobody believes in transubstantiation, alien abductions, the 9/11, Lincoln, and JFK conspiracies, the bermuda triangle, astrology, laetrille, homeopathic medicine, and the catholic church any more, who would believe that a 2-bit huckster would still be out there making a living peddling lies and trading the death and misery of others.

Why should we stop her? She's smart enough to make a living off of freakin morons. Bully for her.
Then again, I've never lost a child, so maybe she's taking advantage of people who aren't emotionally stable enough to be thinking straight.
Nah...bully for her.

Oh, my god. Why would anyone want to talk to dead puppies? It would be so sad!
But knowing when cakes would be delivered and to whom would be handy.

Anyone can talk to dead puppies, but the truth is, they're lousy conversationalists.

Wait, wait, wait...so daytime talk shows are exploitative and spread missinformation? Someone fire up the Blatant Signal and get Captain Obvious on the case quickly.

Both as conversationalists and as the predictors of the outcome of war.

You can either help stop her or pay her $750 for a phone reading. Just don't buy gold from her.
In case all of this wasn't enough, here's one more: Sylvia predicts that the trapped West Virginia miners will be found alive live on a radio show, after initial reports indicated they were alive. She's still on the air when the news comes back that all but one are dead.
