It's been done around here before. Intresting that the particular document seems to be from the year 2000.

This place is sort of self-parodying anyway, isn't it?

Also, I think this may be a self-link. Whois is running slow though so I'm not sure. Anyone else?

Do I have to lack a sense of humor to find that funny?

The matrix is older than you know. I prefer counting from the emergence of one integral anomaly to the emergence of the next, in which case this is the sixth version

This is weird. This post contains the taglines from both of the previous posts of this, namely "No comment from me, I'll leave that to everyone else" and "Let Scott show you how it's done". Either I am stupid, and don't see how obviously these two phrases would pop up when posting this, or maybe some sort of weird collective unconsciousness of metafilter has started fomenting posts of its own, or, less palatably, annathea has just decided to post the ultimately meta-meta-meta post, it being a post of a double of a post parodying the site itself, using the taglines from the previous two posts. But why would anyone do such a thing? The mind boggles.

Complaint that link to thread 9622 crashes browser. Nostalgic chuckle over the Metatalk thread 9622. Speculation on how long this thread will be here before it's nuked.
