Complete archive of Calvin & Hobbes cartoons, from the first to the last. (although maybe not this one) One list of the 25 best. But you should buy the damn book, already. Bill Watterson would appreciate it. Maybe.
This post was deleted for the following reason: pretty cool archive of every old strip, but it's been posted several times before in other forms. -- mathowie
Oh my.

Copyright issues, maybe? Hmmmmm. Whether I'm posting in a deleted thread or not, though, I will say that the collection of home-colored strips at link number four pleased me greatly. I myself am tempted to bust out the Crayolas every time I see a Marvel Essential or DC Showcase.

This not like linking one magazine article that could be covered by an argument for fair use. Unless Watterson approved that archive, this is on the level of linking a bit torrent.

Reminds me how much I've really missed Calvin & Hobbes over the years. If I didn't have a report to edit today (and it's so boooooorrrring), I'd vanish into that site before it disappears.

I loved the strip, but that site just doesn't seem right.

Greg Nog: Interestingly, at the time jonson posted the link, that link was to an elaborate, nicely designed site that allowed you to pull up the graphic of every strip. I thought it had been totally fubar'd following the original post. However, when I just posted the link above, I clicked over and noticed that it now has the description of every strip, which is pretty cool in and of itself. I can't really remember if the original site had the descriptions along with the graphic.

Every year, roughly, there seems to be a post which links to the entirety of Watterson's work, which seems really icky to me.
At the very least, in any case, this post is a double.

I bought the Complete Calvin and Hobbes for my mother christmas a couple of years ago. One warning, it's not small, and yet still incredibly dense...
Awesome however!

On the one hand, many Calvin & Hobbes strips are insightful, and many times I've thought of an appropriate strip to link to on Metafilter. On the other hand, why devalue the strips that way?

This post may be deleted, but I hadn't seen the "maybe not this one" link and I found it to be fascinating. So, there's that.
