Poor Microsoft - only 4.3 billion and profit this quarter!

Poor Microsoft's Pocket Book - Microsoft may be getting slammed left and right for antitrust violations and Vista bugs and compatibility, but somehow, everybody must want and need what they have!
This post was deleted for the following reason: A couple of news blips and a link to Microsoft's homepage? What's the interesting thing worth posting here? It feels like a generic MS conversation starter. -- cortex
yeah I use MS, but I always give the new operating systems a good three years minimum before even thinking of switching, even then I usually skip interval releases, actually I do that with most software.
Might be awhile before Vista is in any shape to consider.

So it's nice that their games division posted it's first profit ever.
But I have to wonder how much of that is because they put the $1 billion fix-melting-360s cost all on the last set of financial results.

Apart from UAC being a little irritating at first, and Nvidia releasing shitty drivers that they've since updated, I've had no big problems with Vista.
You may now throw things at me.
Also, can anyone help me figure out where this post goes on the Bristol Scale? I'm thinking it's a 5.

I usually skip a few OS's as well. The only time I didn't is with 95 and 98. I really wish a better company would come along and make a better operating system. But most people want the point and click ease of windows.
